“Thank you for letting us be able to share your beautiful cottage for a few days. It's been wonderful and very relaxing. Walnut cottage is full of love and you can feel it as soon as you walk through the door. It's so like home, very similar colours. The needlework is just beautiful. We both love Wells and it is only a short drive away, but a very special place. We can remember coming as children after the 1953 floods.. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept on, will have to sort our mattress out! Loved the lights!! Thank you for your kindness” – Virgina & Michael Turner from Norfolk, October 2012
“Had a lovely week in your cosy, comfy cottage by the sea. Looks like we headed south for just the right week given the floods at home. Will be back soon, we hope, Many thanks.” – Bob & Samantha from Halifax, September 2012

“Lovely to come back, very nostalgic. the weather has been great. We have visited Holt, Sheringham, and Holkham, the beach is a must do. Evenings at the quay side watching the boats. I have been watering the pots & sweet peas and the family of blackbirds have eaten with us at breakfast and dinner. As always the cottage wraps a huge welcome around us, thank you” – Appleby from Northampton, August 2012
“Our first 2 week holiday & it was great. Arrived on the hottest day of the year 32 degrees. Blue skies and the multicoloured sails of the boats. Almost like the med but with decent beer on the Albatross.Good to be away from the pressures of the 21st century. The grey day matches our mood as we return home. Oh to be in Wells. Thank you for everything, we will be back” – Bruce, Sarah & Henrietta from Saffron walden, August 2012
“What a lovely cottage. Homely and full of charm. We had an enjoyable week with our 2 small children. Wiveton Cafe was lovely – we went there twice for coffee and cake! We also enjoyed trips on the steam train from Sheringham and the Wells to Walsingham miniature railway. The shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham was a really peaceful place, and the chocolate shop near the station sold nice icecream! The hat shop in Burnham Market was quite something.. So much left that we wanted to do but didn’t have time for. The Baldwins, Hertfordshire” – Baldwins from Herts, July 2012
“Thank you for making us feel so at home. The cottage is delightful, cosy & homely! We have had the most wonderful week in Norfolk and have fallen in love with it. There has been something for everyone. We enjoyed cycling around Holkham. Holkham beach is breathtaking. Had a wonderful time collecting shells. Felbrigg hall is worth a visit, and Sheringham park is stunning, lovely walks leading to breathtaking views. The shell museum & art cafe at Glandford are a must, followed by lunch in Holt” – Elizabeth & Family from Kent, July 2012
